Certified Snow Analysis Unit. Est. 2026. Not affiliated with any meteorological service, ski resort, or dog.
Snowmark operates as an independent snow analysis unit measuring whatever it is you just dragged across the screen. We do not ask what it represents. We are not equipped to ask. We simply measure it, score it, and hand you a certificate. What exactly emerges from below the screen has never been fully explained, and our ethics board recommends we keep it that way.
Your Snowmark Rating is calculated from four measured variables: horizontal wander (Aim Consistency), turning-angle smoothness (Elegance), vertical reach (Depth), and total distance traveled (Distance).
Unlike most of our other tools, this score is not random. It is derived from the actual geometry of what you dragged across our snow, which we believe makes it more accurate, though not more meaningful, and definitely not more hygienic.
Scores translate to tiers: Frost Legend (85+), Certified Marksman (65-84), Adequate Aim (45-64), Needs Practice (25-44), and Please Step Away From The Snow (below 25). Most first attempts land in the middle two tiers. We do not know what this means either.
It doesn't, really. But you held down a mouse button (or a finger) and aimed at some snow, on purpose, for no material gain, and we felt that deserved a certificate. Consider this our way of saying thank you for marking your territory, so to speak. We won't elaborate.
